Oh Mighty Sunflower

I love summer! I love the sunshine, the flowers, the lazy feel to the heat. I love drinking fresh green juice while I have my toes in the paddling pool and the sun shining on me.

But most of all, I love the brightest, often overlooked flower that rises to the sun like a testament to its goodness: the sunflower. She smiles, she gives us seeds, she gives us beauty, she gives us life.

Thank you oh mighty sunflower for reminding me to laugh and enjoy every minute of my precious time on earth.
