This powerful blend of vegetables is just the thing to get your day off to a roaring start.
Today Share and I used carrots, red beets, kale, Swiss chard, ginger root, whole peeled lemon, celery and parsley. The lemon and ginger root give this blend a nice kick. Beets are famous for their ability to cleanse the blood, they contain calcium, iron, and potassium as well as vitamin C and beta-carotene. Carrots are rich in organic calcium which is great for teeth and bones as well as being loaded with vitamin A . Celery is rich in organic sodium so it’s great if you’re working out.
COFFEE OR CARROTS?
A friend of ours recently bought a new juicer and stopped drinking coffee every morning. Her husband says he now has to drink three or four cups of coffee to keep up with her after she has just one 8 ounce glass of carrot juice.
